BRUNSWICK — Avery Cologna recorded a hat trick to lead Edward Little/Leavitt/Poland to a 7-2 girls hockey win over Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Medomak on Monday.

Kylee Spugnardi added two goals, and Mackenzie Grenier and Olivia Doyon also scored for the Red Hornets (2-1). Kaylee Hudson tallied two assists, while Spugnardi, Grenier, Cologna and Grace Ducharme each had one.

Rachel Skolfield and Katherine Hawkes scored and Riley Walters stopped 27 shots for the Eagles (0-5).

BOYS HOCKEY
GREELY 3, MT. ARARAT/LISBON/MORSE/HYDE 2: Charlie Moore tied the game with 35 seconds remaining and Finn Murphy got the winner just 15 seconds later as Greely rallied for a 3-2 win Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse/Hyde at Watson Arena in Brunswick.

Dylan Richards scored in each of the first two periods to give Mt. Ararat (0-2) a 2-0 lead.

Moore started Greely’s comeback midway through the third.

Kai Stockford stopped 19 shots for Mt. Ararat, while Tucker Goddu recorded 10 saves for Greely (2-0).
