WESTBROOK — Izzy Morelli led all scorers as visiting Gray-New Gloucester picked up a 52-42 victory over Westbrook in girls basketball Friday night.
Morelli poured in 17 points for the Patriots (2-1). Ella Kenney chipped in with 12 points and Alexa Portas added 11.
Kylie Young scored 12 points for the Blue Blazes (2-1).
MADISON 63, OAK HILL 15: Alison Griffeth finished with 13 points for the Bulldogs in their win over the Raiders in Wales.
Mackenzie Robbins had the second-most points with 10 for Madison and Jacey Moody had eight.
For Oak Hill, Mackenzee Wardwell contributed six points and Madalyn Sikora chipped in five.
SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 86, LISBON 8: Jaydn Pingree (20 points) and Jazmine Pingree (17 points) were the leading scorers for the Phoenix, securing the win over the Greyhounds in Lisbon.
Maddie Grimaldi tallied 15 points and Natasha McDonald added 14 points for Spruce Mountain.
Deanna Adams, Natalie Bichrest, Delaney McGrath and Halen Richard each chipped in two points for Lisbon.
LEAVITT 51, ERSKINE ACADEMY 46: Caitlyn McCoy was the leading scorer for the Hornets (22 points) in their win over the Eagles.
Jordyn Boulay contributed 17 points for Leavitt.
Kelsie Dunn finished with 19 points for Erskine, and was followed by Serena Hotham with 10 points.
MARANACOOK 44, MT. ABRAM 17: Natalie Mohlar scored 15 points and Celia Bergdahl added eight to lead the Black Bears to the MVC victory in Readfield.
Alice Ferran scored seven points for Maranacook (2-0).
Mt. Abram dropped to 1-2.
BOYS BASKETBALL
YORK 88, POLAND 39: Derek Parsons tallied 22 points to lead the Wildcats (3-0) past the Knights (0-3) in Poland.
York raced to a 30-7 lead after one quarter and extended it to 52-16 at halftime. Lukas Bouchard added 12 points, while Reese MacDonald and Connor Roberge each contributed 11.
Anthony Warren scored 13 points and Damon Martin chipped in with 11 for Poland.
CHEVERUS 74, OXFORD HILLS 36: Gio St. Onge paced a balanced attack with 15 points, and Cheverus dominated from start to finish on the way to a 74-36 win over Oxford Hills in a Class AA North game in Portland.
Jameson Fitzpatrick added 11 points and Leo McNabb had 10 for the Stags (2-0), who lost to Oxford Hills (0-2) in the North semifinals last season.
Cheverus led 17-7 after one quarter, 40-24 at halftime and 62-31 after three quarters.
Carter Holbrook scored 11 points for the Vikings.
TELSTAR/GOULD 63, WATERVILLE 49: Wyatt Lilly scored 14 points as Telstar/Gould (1-2) earned its first win of the season at Bethel.
Teammates Brody Morgan added 14 points and Connor Deprey 13.
Garrett Gendreau scored a game-high 19 points for Waterville (0-3), followed by Derek Couture with 13.
MT. BLUE 66, MESSALONSKEE 58: Evans Sterling had a game-high 26 points for the Cougars in the win over the Eagles in Farmington.
Nolan Leso had 14 points in the win.
Sam Dubue and Merrick Smith each had 18 points for Messlonskee.
