WALES — Senior Sammy Calder paced the Monmouth boys basketball team to its third win of the season Saturday in a 51-34 road triumph over Oak Hill.
Calder made 8 of 11 free throws and hit a 3-pointer to lead all scorers with 22 points. Freshman Levi Laverdiere added nine points, including a pair of first-quarter 3s, and sophomore Aiden Oliveira scored eight points for the Mustangs (3-1).
Sophomore Isaac Galvez was the Raiders’ (1-2) high scorer with 10 points. Eli Desmond contributed seven points.
BOOTHBAY 50, LISBON 45: Luke Morely finished with 21 points for the Seahawks (1-2), leading them to a win over the Greyhounds (0-4) in Lisbon.
Finn Harkins added 15 points to the board for Boothbay.
Keeghan Morrisette and Owen Hurd tied for Lisbon’s top point-scorer with 10 points each. Owen Booker also contributed nine points.
BOYS HOCKEY
POLAND/LEAVITT/OAK HILL/GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 4, YORK 3: Hunter Bussiere scored the game-winning goal for the Kings (1-1) in overtime to down the Wildcats (1-1) at Dover Ice Arena in Dover, New Hampshire.
William Keach scored twice for Poland/Leavitt/Oak Hill. Luke Gladu forced overtime by scoring the only goal of the third period.
Brandon Briggs, Bradley Carr and Conor Fell each scored in the second period for the Wildcats.
Ian Guerin made 26 saves for the Kings, and Aidan McQuaide stopped 29 shots for the Wildcats.
LEWISTON 4, BIDDEFORD/MASSABESIC/OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Hayden Brown had a goal and an assist for the Blue Devils (3-0) in a win over the Tigers (0-2) at Biddeford Ice Arena.
Aizyk Laliberte, Cody Dionne and Ben Judkins had the other three Lewiston tallies. Dylan Blue had two assists.
Gabe Pomerleau only needed to make eight saves for the shutout. Connor Thibault stopped 29 shots in the loss.

EDWARD LITTLE/LEAVITT/POLAND 1, GREELY/ GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Kylee Spugnardi had the only goal in the game late in the second period for the Red Hornets (3-2) in the win over the Rangers (1-5) at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.
Mackenzie Grenier and Grace Ducharme had the assists.
Izzy Jalbert only needed to make three saves for the shutout. Charlie Louie made 37 saves in the loss.
ST. DOM’S 3, WINSLOW/GARDINER/CONY/MESSALONSKEE/LAWRENCE/ERSKINE/MARANACOOK/WATERVILLE 2: Gabby Allen had two goals and an assist for the Saints (3-3) in the win over the Black Tigers (3-3) at Norway Savings Bank Arena in Auburn.
Lauren Hanlon also scored for St. Dom’s.
Katie Bedard scored both of the Black Tigers’ goals.
Alana Wheeler made 18 saves in the win and Lily Bedard made 16 saves for the Winslow co-op.
