Here’s a request to move Veterans Memorial Park in Lewiston to an area less likely to experience flooding.

Perhaps the park across the street could be expanded to accommodate the various monuments, benches and souvenirs of service.

If the community is going to fundraise $100,000 to restore what was damaged, it makes sense to me to move it to an area that is much less likely to sustain similar damage in the future.
