AUBURN – Constance J. Robert, 86, formerly of Lewiston, passed away on Dec, 19, 2023 at Schooner Memory Care in Auburn. Connie was born in Lewiston on Sept, 8, 1937, the daughter of Albert and Albertha Tremblay. She attended local schools and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1955.

In September of 1956, Connie married Joseph R. Robert and they remained together until his passing in 2016.

Connie spent most of her working years as the office manager and salesperson at T.J. Murphy Fur Company. She was a woman of deep faith and an active member of Holy Cross Parish where she enjoyed singing in the church choir. She loved her family and friends so deeply, especially Agathe Poulin and Jackie Fortin, who were always there for her. She also had a special love for her Schooner friends, particularly Jerry and Gloria. She enjoyed traveling with friends and the Holy Cross Seniors.

Survivors include her son Mark Robert and wife Lori of Phillips, daughter Cindy Boisvert and husband Ron of Gorham; grandson Christopher “Chip” Boisvert and wife Giovanna of Mt.Laurel, N.J., granddaughter Brittany Locke and husband Ned of Gorham; and great-grandchildren Owen Boisvert, Miles Boisvert and Benjamin Locke. In addition to her parents Albert and Albertha, she was predeceased by her husband Joseph, sisters Priscilla Doyon and Lorraine Philippon; and granddaughter Adrianne Robert.

Special thanks to Tanya Kennagh, Connie’s angel at Schooner, and all the amazing staff who showed her such loving care, particularly in her final days. We could not have asked for more.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Church, 1080 Lisbon St., Lewiston. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date.
