Rebels fall to St. Dom’s
Telstar Junior Varsity Rebels couldn’t keep up with St. Dom’s, 67-28, on Thursday, December 21. St. Domo’s went on an 11-point run to start the game. Leading 38-19, St. Dom’s went on a 21-2 run to pull further away.
Connor Deprey led Telstar JV Rebels in scoring with nine points. Deprey hit three threes for the team. Also contributing for Telstar were Seth Dupuis (6 points), Reggie Billings (3 points), Hunter Winslow (3 points), Tommy (3 points), Nate Clarey (2 points), and Elliot Norton (2 points).
St. Dom’s controlled the paint, grabbing 39 rebounds.
Rebels sneak past Sacopee
Telstar’s Junior Varsity team narrowly defeated Sacopee Valley, 38-34, on Thursday, December 28, on Thursday. The Rebels held on for the win after building a 21-point lead at 28-7.
Leading 7-3, Telstar JV went on a 9-point run to pull further away.
Gage Berry led Telstar JV in scoring with 16 points. The Rebels rebounded the ball well, collecting 29 rebounds. Gage Berry led the team with eight rebounds. Telstar swiped 13 steals in the game. Gage Berry led the team with three steals. Tommy (8 points), Seth Dupuis (5 points), Nate Clarey (5 points), Zach Dougherty (2 points), and Hunter Mckitrick (2 points) also pitched in for Telstar.
