The Celebration Barn plans to present Evicted Vaudeville at 7 pm Saturday, Aug. 28, at 190 Stock Farm Road in South Paris.
Some of today’s leading variety artists will join together for Evicted Vaudeville, a family-friendly evening of comedy, music, puppetry, stunts and more on Celebration Barn’s outdoor, open-air stage; bring your own chair.
Featuring nationally and internationally celebrated touring artists Tom Murphy, Tomáš Kubínek, Rose Friedman and Justin Lander, Evicted Vaudeville is described as “a raucous evening of thrills, romance, and heartwarming hilarity.”
Murphy – “Mayhem-Meister” Tom Murphy is an award-winning touring acrobat and slapstick comedian who has been teaching and performing around the globe for 4 decades. For much of the last 20 years he has been a staple on the popular Varieté scene in Germany with his solo show and as a featured guest performer. A versatile showman, he has performed in international festivals, Renaissance Fairs, cruise ships, colleges, corporations, Broadway, TV and films.
Known as “Certified Lunatic and Master of the Impossible,” Kubínek is a comedic vaudevillian who has appeared in more than 30 countries and performed for thousands in theaters, opera houses, television specials, with symphony orchestras, and at international festivals.
Friedman and Lander are husband and wife performers who create puppet shows, novelty songs, variety acts, street theater and more.
Tickets cost $18 for adults, $16 for seniors (60-plus), and $8 for children.
