I am writing to endorse Leigh Albert for the Ward 6 Lewiston School Committee seat.
Leigh and her family have been our neighbors. Our children attend daycare and elementary school together. I witness Leigh as a caring parent and compassionate community member daily.
Through my roles on the board of directors for the Lewiston Education Fund, I have seen her dedication as a champion for education in Lewiston. Leigh possesses the financial acumen necessary to be a critical contributor to the school committee. Her skills and experience as treasurer of the YWCA Central Maine’s Board of Director and as Bates College’s vice president for enrollment and dean of admission and financial aid would be invaluable to the school committee.
Leigh Albert has my support, and I urge residents to join me in voting for Leigh to join the Lewiston School Committee for Ward 6.
Leigh would serve and represent our students and families exceptionally well.
