FARMINGTON — Franklin County Retired Educators will meet at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 18 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Farmington Falls Road. There will be a program followed by a meetimg and lunch. All retired educators are welcome. For more information and reservations call 778-4282.

CHESTERVILLE — The Webster Cemetery Association will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 18 at the town hall.
Carthage Historical Society
CARTHAGE — The Carthage Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 19 at the museum. There will be a 5:30 potluck supper with the meeting to follow. Poems, stories, recipes and pictures are requested for the newsletter.
Garden club
MT. BLUE — Mt. Blue Area Garden Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, at Trinity United Methodist Church on the Farmington Falls Road. Refreshments will be served by hostesses Annette Tripp, Joan Douglas and Agnes Atwood. Club member Loraine Norton will be speaking on “Invasive Plants.”
A short meeting lead by president Amy Palmer will follow Loraine’s talk. Guests are welcome. For more information, call 645-2067.
Kid’s Stuff Sale
FARMINGTON — The Kids’ Stuff Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at the Old South Church, 227 Main St. There will be a bake sale, silent auctions, toys, books, clothing, sports equipment and more.
To donate outgrown clothing, toys in good condition and other items, drop them off at the white barn next to the church. There will also be drop-off boxes at Wilton Hardware, Tranten’s in Farmington and the Farmington Public Library. Proceeds will go to the Franklin County Children’s Task Force for summer camp scholarships. For more information, call Kim Smith at 370-8546.
