- Engine 5 drove up to Social Learning Center at 80 Strawberry Ave. in Lewiston. They surprised consumers and staff whom they previously had visited as part of fire safety instruction with T-shirts that said, “Stop, Drop and Roll” with their logo on the front. SLC serves adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Carol A. Lanier, who teaches social awareness at SLC and is a part of Tri-County Mental Health, completed a fire safety unit in early fall.
