GREENWOOD — The Greenwood Board of Selectmen met Jan. 4 to discuss bylaws. Selectmen determined that now that they have a procedure for Zoom to adopt it into the Selectmen Bylaws saying that regular meetings are held in-person as well as via Zoom, which is as valid as any other meeting. Going forward, whenever a person speaks at a meeting, they are to state their name so those on Zoom, who may not be able to see them, can know who is talking.
The Selectmen decided that the chair of the board would be the second in command to handle emergency requests
“The Bylaws stated that the town manager shall be the point of contact for all media requests. When in an emergency situation, if town manager is not available the chair of the Board of Selectmen shall give a situation statement,” said Selectman Norman Milliard.
