Some questions for our Democrat-controlled government, because its policies don’t make any sense to me:

Why did President Biden cancel the oil pipeline (11,000 jobs were lost) immediately upon taking office? This was the prelude to an increase in fuel prices.

Why did Biden not close the southern border with Mexico, which allowed drug trafficking and over a million undocumented immigrants into the United States, some with diseases or criminal records? Many were transported at taxpayer expense to many cities in the U.S. to do what? Go on welfare while awaiting a hearing?

Why do the larger U.S. cities under Democrat control have increases in crime, particularly murders of police? Why was the open looting of stores not stopped? Why were demonstrations allowed to be destructive to private property? Would anyone in Maine allow their property to be ransacked and damaged by demonstrators?

Who is really running the federal government? I don’t think President Biden is mentally capable of doing anything more than carrying out directions from others.

Why do we allow serious inflation of our currency? Expensive spending proposals continue. The Democrat-controlled Congress hasn’t found it politically favorable to raise taxes enough to pay for what it has enacted.

Why are we not allowed to make our own decision about COVID masking and immunization? It is a serious error to not be immunized, except for a legitimate reason, but a governmental mandate takes away our personal freedom of choice. Personally , I think avoiding immunization is a mistake.
