With gasoline pumps covered with wooden boxes for the past few weeks and the convenience store closed over the weekend, many regular patrons of the 7-Eleven at 345 Main St. in Lewiston are asking what is happening. Owner and Manager Dalia Karim says the pumps are closed due to a problem with the underground tanks, and the store was closed temporarily to replace flooring, but is to reopen Monday morning. Karim says her lease is being negotiated, and depending on what transpires, she will decide if she will continue to sell gasoline. Russ Dillingham/Sun Journal
