TURNER — At least one person was hurt late Thursday night when a car crashed and rolled down an embankment on Buckfield Road.
Emergency crews were called out just before 11 p.m. for a report that the car had rolled down an embankment, next to Martin Stream near the intersection at Bennett Road.
Turner fire and rescue crews had to extricate an occupant from the car while struggling to keep the vehicle from sliding further down the embankment.
Early reports state that one person was being treated for injuries suffered in the crash. No further information was available on Friday. Maine State Police were investigating.
