LIVERMORE FALLS — Lucas Towers had the game-winning sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 10th inning for Spruce Mountain in a 7-6 MVC baseball victory over Oak Hill on Monday.

Towers also had a sac fly in the ninth.

Jayden Perreault had three hits, including a double, for the Phoenix (3-2), while Max Labonte, Reece Davis and Elie Timler each had two hits. Garrett Hunt and TJ Espeaignnette each had a double.

Kyle Delano had three hits for the Raiders (0-4), including a double, while Ethan Vattaso had three singles.

LISBON 10, DIRIGO 0 (5 INN.): Levi Tibbetts had two hits and three RBIs in the Greyhounds’ (3-0) five-inning win over the Cougars (2-1) in Lisbon.

Aiden Parker had two hits and drove in two runs and Hunter Brissette had an RBI. Brissette and Jimmy Fitzsimmons each had a double.

Nick Ferrance pitched all five innings, only allowing one hit and while striking out 10.

Charlie Houghton had the lone hit for Dirigo.

MT. ABRAM 11, TELSTAR 1 (6 INN.): The Roadrunners (3-0) scored eight runs in the fourth inning and ended the game in the bottom of the sixth by pulling out to a 10-run cushion over the Rebels (1-3) in Salem.

Kaden Pillsbury had two hits, three RBIs and scored two runs for Mt. Abram, and also pitched an inning of relief of starter Adam Luce, who scattered three hits and struck out six. Cam Grey also had two hits, including a double, and collected two RBIs and two runs scored.

Brody Walker had two of the four Telstar hits and drove in the Rebels’ lone run.

CAPE ELIZABETH 7, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Curtis Sullivan’s 14-strikeout no-hitter powered the Capers (3-2) past the Patriots (3-3) in Cape Elizabeth.

Sullivan walked none, throwing a perfect game apart from Cape’s five errors. Owen Tighe added a double and three RBI at the plate. Colin Smith, Charlie Song and Hayden Webber each had one RBI.

HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL
OAK HILL 5, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 3: The Raiders (2-2) scored three runs in the top of the seventh to rally past the Phoenix (1-5) in Jay.

Kelsey Young was the winning pitcher and collected two hits for Oak Hill, which trailed 3-2 entering the final frame. Carly Austin also had two hits.

Emma Towers had a pair of hits for Spruce Mountain, and Jaydn Pingree was saddled with the loss in the circle.

OXFORD HILLS 4, MT. ARARAT 0: Kaydence Morse had two doubles and two RBIs as the Vikings (5-0) beat the Eagles (1-2).

Maddy Miller had a triple and Miah Gallan had a double in the win. Makenna Pomerleau had an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth for the Vikings.

Miller had nine strikeouts and allowed only one hit for the win.

Gabby West had the lone hit for Mt. Ararat.

LEAVITT 15, MT. BLUE 4 (5 INN.): Nola Boutaugh hit three doubles to help the Hornets (3-3) dispatch the Cougars (0-4) in five innings in Farmington.

Abby Albert hit two singles and a double for Leavitt and Lily Chabot smacked two singles. Hailey Turcotte added a triple, while Logan Arsenault and Emily Poland each had a double.

Leavitt jumped out to a 9-2 lead after two innings, scoring three in the top of first and six in the second.

K.K. Daggett had a triple and a single for Mt. Blue, while Katie Yeaton also had two hits.

WINTHROP 8, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 2: Ella Rice had a double and a single while driving in three runs in the Ramblers (3-1) victory over the Falcons (1-3) in Winthrop.

She also had two stolen bases.

Lydia Rice had a triple and Maddie Perkins had a double in the victory. Bella Littler led all Winthrop hitters with three hits, which were all singles. Lauryn Wood struck out eight in the circle, only allowing two runs and two hits in the victory.

Winthrop scored two runs each in the first and second innings, added a run in the third and scored three more times in the sixth.

Mountain Valley scored its runs in the first and fourth innings. Alison Legere pitched for the Falcons.

SKOWHEGAN 9, EDWARD LITTLE 2: The River Hawks (5-0) used a six-run seventh inning to pull away from the Red Eddies (1-5) in Auburn.

Skowhegan held a 3-2 advantage heading into the seventh.

Annabelle Morris, Jaycie Christopher and Calloway Lepage all had two hits in the game, while Sierra Carey singled and had two RBIs.

Leah Thibodeau had two doubles and an RBI for Edward Little. Alexis Kelsea also had an RBI in the loss.

HALL-DALE 10, BUCKFIELD 0 (5 INN.): Rita Benoit threw a one-hitter to lead the Bulldogs (3-0) past the Bucks (1-4) in Buckfield.

Hall-Dale jumped out to an early lead, scoring four in the top of the first, and came back in the top of the second with three more runs. The Bulldogs scored twice more in the fourth and one more time in the fifth.

Sammy Thorton had three hits and Torrie Tibbetts had two.

Carmen Crockett had Buckfield’s lone hit, which came in the bottom of the second.

CAPE ELIZABETH 18, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 2 (5 INN.): Clara Parker allowed no hits, and the Capers (3-2) scored nine runs in each of the first two innings to down the Patriots (1-5) in five innings at Cape Elizabeth.

Parker walked three and struck out three and added two hits and two RBIs. Lauren Steinberg had three of Cape Elizabeth’s 14 hits.

TELSTAR 9, MT. ABRAM 8: Makenzie Eliot doubled and tripled for the Rebels (3-2) and held off a late rally by the Roadrunners in Salem.

Telstar scored one run in the seventh to take a 9-5 lead, but Mt. Abram made a late push with three runs in the bottom of the inning.

Natasha Mason was the winning pitcher for Telstar, striking out five in five innings. Eliot pitched the final two innings, striking out two and earning the save.

Savannah Davis had three hits, including a double, and Abi Wilcox had three singles for the Roadrunners. Kaydence Dunn also had a double.

Mt. Abram’s Adrianna Stinchfield pitched all seven innings and struck out 10 in the loss.

LISBON 8, DIRIGO 4: The Greyhounds’ (2-1) bats came alive late in the game to rally past the Cougars (2-1) and win in Lisbon.

Dirigo led 3-0 going into the bottom of the third and 4-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth before Lisbon scored four runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth.

Erica Hill pitched a one-hitter for the Greyhounds and struck out 10 batters. Brooke Norman hit two doubles and a single and drove in three runs, and Elle Burkhardt smacked three singles and added an RBI. Maria Levesque had a double and two RBIs and Sophie Maloy notched a triple.

Grace Rollins struck out three batters for the Cougars.

GIRLS LACROSSE
ST. DOM’S 16, FRYEBURG 6: Natalie Brocke, Emma Roy and Jessie Zimmerman each had four goals in the Saints’ (1-3) win over the Raiders (0-3) in Fryeburg.

Zimmerman added four assists while Brocke and Roy each had one.

Gabby Allen and Anna Theriault each added two goals for St. Dom’s.
