- The Leavitt Area High School Band, led by music director Bill Buzza, will help kick off this summer’s concert series at the gazebo on the green in Turner Center on Tuesday, May 31. Also performing will be Hornets in Harmony, an a cappella group from the high school led by music director Penny Appleby, and the duo Greater Purpose, offering folk, bluegrass and inspirational music. Free sundaes will be served. Bring lawn chairs. The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m.
