NORTH NEW PORTLAND — Nuala Kennedy will perform at 7 p.m. Monday, June 6, at the North New Portland Community Church, 14 Hancock Pond Road.
Based in her adopted homeland of Scotland, Irish singer and flute player Nuala Kennedy performs a range of material from across the Irish and Scottish traditional music repertoires. She also composes her own brand of music and tours in a variety of lineups from duo and quartet to a nine-piece festival band.
Donation is $8 per person, $5 for children or $20 per family. Refreshments will be available. Tickets are at the door. For further information, call 778-4705.
Community luncheon
FARMINGTON — Old South First Congregational Church will serve its monthly free community luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 11. The menu for this month includes hamburgers, hot dogs and sausages on the grill, cole slaw and cake.
Delivery service will be available in the Farmington area. Call the church office at 778-0424 during the week or the church kitchen at 778-4438 on the morning of the luncheon to have your meal delivered.
