AUBURN — The Auburn Shopping Center at 600 Center St. was closed briefly Thursday morning after Shaw’s grocery store received an anonymous threat, police confirmed.
The caller could not be identified and the nature of the threat could not be substantiated.
Shaw’s and other stores in the complex were evacuated and employees were seen at the far end of the parking lot shortly after 10 a.m. The stores reopened about 10:15 a.m.
