COUNTY — Oxford Federal Credit Union (OFCU) is pleased to announce that they are partnering with Jobs for Maine Graduates (JMG) programs in Oxford County for the 2022/23 school year. “Financial education is extremely important to us as an organization, and this partnership will raise our level of commitment to making it available,” said Lisa Marston, OFCU’s Marketing Director. “We are excited to offer JMG students the tools and support they need as they prepare for life beyond high school.”

As a financial education partner of JMG, OFCU is making a $2,500.00 contribution to the program and will provide financial education and resources to students, collaborate with them on community and social awareness projects, and award scholarships to graduating seniors.

“We are thankful to OFCU for this partnership supporting JMG programs at Dirigo High School, Mountain Valley High School, and Telstar High School,” said Craig Larrabee, President & CEO of JMG. “One of our programmatic goals is to strengthen our students’ capacity to make sound financial decisions by building their personal financial literacy skills. We are fortunate to bring the benefit of OFCU’s expertise and mentorship to local students as we help them reach their fullest potential.”

JMG partners with public education and private businesses to offer results-driven solutions to ensure all Maine students graduate, attain post-secondary credentials, and pursue meaningful careers. JMG is the largest statewide education nonprofit in Maine, and is the only educational organization that provides a continuum of support to students from middle school, throughout high school, and onto post-secondary education and career pathways. JMG serves more than 12,000 students annually. For more information, visit the website: www.jmg.org.
