She also operates a small dog biscuit company, the proceeds of which she donates to animal shelters. She will be reading her books, including her most recent, “The Bakery Caper,” followed by related crafts.
On Thursday, July 14, the library will welcome Frann Bird, a retired early childhood specialist, who loves children, reading and Mother Goose. “Mother Goose” and her sidekick Gertrude will provide an afternoon of storytelling.
The programs are free of charge and open to all area children and their friends. Parents and other care-givers are welcome to attend, and are encouraged to accompany younger children. The programs are held in the library’s public room at 3 p.m.
