Walking group
NORWAY — Healthy For Life Wellness Center has a walking group and is looking for more people to join. This is open to the public and is free.

Car show at BBQ
FRYEBURG — The Harrison Lions Club Car Show at the Western Maine BBQ Festival will take place Saturday, July 23, at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds, Route 5. Car registration is from 9 a.m. to noon, with voting from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The awards ceremony will start at 2 p.m. Entry fee is $5. There are 20 different classes with three awards per class as well as a best of show.

Bean supper
NORWAY — A public bean supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Norway Masonic Hall, 9 Temple St. Menu includes four types of homemade beans, hot dogs, cole slaw, bread, beverages and homemade pies. All you can eat; adults $7, children under 12 $4.
Garage, bake sale
OXFORD — The Oxford Fire Relief Organization will hold their fifth annual garage and bake sale Saturday, July 23. Donations of clean, nonelectric items can be dropped off at the Public Safety Building, 701 Main St., from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Bee Club meet
SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hill’s Bee Club will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the University Agriculture Center, Route 26.
Paul Szott will be the speaker. He will open a bee hive and talk about honey flow, preparing for late summer and early fall, and how to treat for mites and foulbrood. Bring veils. Everyone is welcome.

Church services
WATERFORD — Church services for the North Waterford and Stoneham Churches will be held during the month of July at the North Waterford Church, located on Five Kezars Road, off routes 35 and 37, opposite Melby’s Market. On Sunday, July 24, after the 10 a.m. service, there will be a luncheon, to which all are invited, followed by a parish meeting for the combined churches. All are welcome.
