Pantry open
OTISFIELD — The Food Pantry will be open from from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 16, at Spurrs Corner Church, Route 121. The pantry is open the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 10 a.m. to noon, and the second Monday evening of each month from 5 to 7 p.m. For more information, call 583-4780 or 627-4329.
Women luncheon
SOUTH PARIS — A Christian Women United luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, at the First Congregational Church. Brenda Lamb from Bridgton will be the speaker. Call Janice at 743-5770 for reservations.
Final breakfast
WATERFORD — The last in a series of four Waterford Summer Breakfasts will be held from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at the Wilkins Community House next to the church on Plummer Hill Road. The full breakfast menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, donuts, freshly baked muffins, orange juice, coffee and tea, for $7 for adults and $4 for children ages 5 to 10. Children under 5 eat for free.
Be sure to visit the Wilkins House Basement Yard Sale while at the breakfast. Sale hours are from 7 to 11 a.m. on Aug. 17. New items appear at each of the sales, and bargains abound.
Proceeds from the breakfast and the yard sale go to the Building Maintenance and Improvement Funds of the Wilkins Community House and Waterford Congregational Church.
