Outlook: Poland anticipates a competitive season. One of the team’s stated goals is to improve up front and put more balls into the cage. The team will rely on the fresh talent, combined with seasoned leadership. Led by co-captains King and Brousseau (junior), the Knights return nine starters to the lineup. Freshman Amanda Dube and Abbie L’Italien bring speed and athleticism and will be added to the starting lineup. Strong goaltending by Lavoie and Gregory will anchor the defense with Littlefield and Leino providing a solid backline.
Coach’s comment: “We have a group of players who are not afraid to work hard. This team has the opportunity to exhibit a tremendous amount of growth. Individually, they are all solid athletes. I am excited to see what they can achieve together.”
