LISBON — Several residents have taken out papers recently in hopes of filling positions that will become vacant by the end of the year.
Five elected officials will see their three-year terms expire this year.
Kenneth Wells has taken out papers to keep his position on the Water Commission. Town Councilor Roger Cote took out papers to run for re-election. Marcey Crosskill and Dean Willey have taken out papers for a position on the School Committee. That seat is held by Prudence Grant.
According to town officials, no one has taken steps to run for the Budget Advisory Board.
Nomination papers must be filed by 4:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26.
