CANTON — The Lake Anasagunticook Association plans to hold its annual Lake Days celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at the Canton Boat Launch, 7 Staples Hill Road.
Additionally, kayak races and “blindfold” canoe races will be held on the Canton Beach beginning at 10 a.m.
The general public is invited to attend. Admission is free, and the celebration will be held rain or shine.
Entertainment will be provided by singer and DJ Jason Lee. Attendees can bring a picnic lunch or purchase one on site at Phat Vinnies Food Truck.
There will be free ice cream, watermelon and water bottles, as well as a slip-and-slide for children.
Raffle tickets will be for sale for an opportunity to win prizes, including an overnight stay and dinner at Boston’s Lenox Hotel valued at $900.
Those who would like to participate in the kayak races and/or the “blindfold” canoe races can bring their kayak.
