Toy run
AUGUSTA — The United Bikers of Maine will hold the annual toy run from Augusta to Windsor on Sunday, Sept. 11.
Participants will get organized at the Augusta Civic Center, with the ride beginning promptly at noon.
Organizers are expecting between 16,000 and 20,000 bikers to donate between 9,000 and 14,000 toys to be distributed to Maine children this holiday season.

Leavitt reunion
TURNER — The Leavitt Class of 1981 will host a 30-year reunion Saturday, Oct. 15, at The Turner Highlands Restaurant. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will begin at 6 and music will be provided by ’81 classmate Craig Poland.
The Class of ’81 also invites classes before and after to come share memories of yesterday and revisit with old friends. Cost per person is $20. Checks should be sent to Stacy Cobb, 9 Grove St. Suite #2, Auburn, ME 04210.
