I write in support of Carl Sheline’s reelection for mayor of Lewiston.
Having known Carl for several years, I know that he is not interested in public office to engage in political battles. He wants to focus on creating a positive environment and image for the community, while supporting local businesses.
During his first term as mayor, Carl has been a listener and a leader who seeks to work with different groups of people in an effort to bring our town together.
Carl would continue to seek advice from the people of Lewiston. He would look to the future but stay focused on the here and now.
I am glad that Carl has decided to run for reelection. The same reason I supported him last election is why I support him again this year: he has a good heart and a positive attitude that I know he brings to work every day.
