LEWISTON — American Legion Post 22 will hold its first membership meeting of the 2011-12 year at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, at Lewiston Multi-Purpose Center, 145 Birch St. Elected officers will be duly installed.
A special segment of the meeting will observe memorial prayers for the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack. Post 22 chaplain will lead the membership in prayer.
District 3 American Legion Commander Ron Caron will be the guest speaker.
All members attending should wear their legion hats and have paid-up membership cards in their possession.
Unit 22 will meet at 5:15 p.m. There will be a 50/50 drawing and door prizes will be awarded.
