AREA — The University of Maine Cooperative Extension and the Oxford County Soil and Water Conservation District, in partnership with Wrinkle in Thyme Farm in Sumner, will be offering an on-farm program on Friday, October 13 from 3-5 p.m. When Marty and Maryanne started they were novices to sheep farming and today they run a resilient fiber farm in Sumner, Maine. Join us for a farm tour to hear about how they have used sustainable practices and leveraged resources to build healthy soils and a business.
This program is offered on a sliding scale ($0-$15 per family). Please pay what you can to help cover the cost of this program. Any payments can be made to us on the day of the event – we accept cash or checks. The event is limited to 15 participants and the registration deadline is Thursday, October 12.
