Tricia Asselin

LEWISTON – Tricia Asselin, 53, of Auburn, was taken from us way too soon on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023. She was born on Aug. 30, 1970, in Lewiston, to Lawrence R. Johnson and

Alicia A. (Devost) Johnson. Trish was the most kind-hearted and caring person, who would give the shirt off her back to anyone who needed it more than her. Just a couple of the many examples of her generosity would be her contributions to the giving tree at Christmas time for kids in need. She was very involved in Make-A-Wish, and to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Trish was not the type of person you would find sitting at home and relaxing, as she was not one to sit still. She would often tell you “sleep is overrated”, and would rather spend her time doing the hobbies she enjoyed or working one of her many jobs.

Anyone who knew her would tell you that she was an avid New England sports fan and wouldn’t miss a Patriots, Bruins, or Celtics game if she had the choice. She was also an avid softball player and golfer, and could be found spending much of her time at the bowling alley, as both an employee and bowler on occasion. She was also an avid competitive fisherman. If you asked Trish what her biggest accomplishment was in life, she would tell you it was her son Brandon, in which her life revolved around. While we could go on and on about the type of person Trish was, she would tell us to keep it short and sweet as she never wanted the attention on her, so that is what we will do.

Tricia is survived by her son Brandon Asselin of Lewiston. Granddaughter Ariya Mother Alicia A. Lachance of Okeechobee, Fla. Her sister Bobbi Nichols and her fiancé Raymond Mailoux of Auburn, Brother Mark Johnson and Husband Larry Jordan Auburn, Brother Jason Johnson and wife Becky of Lewiston. Brother Dale DJ Johnson and husband Joe Nellis of Apopka, Fla. Sister Becky Moquin and husband Seth of Ormond Beach, Fla. Her nieces and nephews: Shannon Desrosiers and partner Christopher Martin of Monmouth, and Brett Nichols of Bowdoin. Close friends, Richard and Irene Asselin of Auburn, Stephen Rhonda Cobbett of South Paris and Karen Asselin of New Gloucester.

She was predeceased by her father Lawrence Johnson.
