Belinda Gerry is one of the most dedicated city councilors Auburn has ever had.

She treats everyone with respect, really listening to them. They’re at ease with her.

When issues come up for action, she votes her conscience, factoring in input from constituents and information she’s gathered, with no secret agenda, as some might have …

Being her own person, Belinda won’t allow outside influences to dictate how to vote.

When rezoning changes came up, she didn’t support most of them because they could adversely affect the quality of life in our neighborhoods. Allowance of potential development in and around our lake could impact our drinking water. The loss of our agricultural farm and resource protected land could signal the decline of our current and newly created farms like the dinosaur to be extinct.

Belinda Gerry is Auburn residents’ best advocate. I hope people vote for her Nov. 7.
