Our hearts break and we pray for the losses that moms, dads, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers have had to endure, not only now, but for a loss that they will always feel in their hearts and souls.

Deepest condolences go out to all of the many people affected. Hang on to the memories and keep them close to your heart, for there is where you will find a little peace and maybe a smile.

Many of us have been wondering how the 13 injured people are doing. How many need help? It could be someone to bring them a meal. How about some help in cleaning up their yard? Take out the trash, grocery shopping and other shopping as needed.

Do they need transportation? I do not know about GoFundMe pages, but these 13 people were at those locations and I would think they are suffering with recovery issues and the loss of friends.

Is anything set up for them? They have lost someone they cared about also.

To the three people who are still in the hospital, we wish them a very speedy recovery and I pleased to see that they are all in stable condition. Keep up the good fight.

I realize that the state of Maine is grieving for the people who have been affected in this horrible devastation. Let us not forget any of them.

We all need to heal, don’t we? Because no matter where we live, we are all Lewiston Strong.
