To the Editor:The Shriners of Oxford County are once again holding a FEZtival of Trees at Jackson-Silver Post #68 at 595 Gore Rd in Locke Mills. This year there will be over 20 decorated trees sponsored by local businesses, non profits and individuals for everyone to enjoy, Friday, Dec. 8 with doors opening at 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 10 from 8 a.m. until noon.
Tree winners will be drawn at 1 p.m. on Sunday. Free Admission. Tree tickets are 10 tickets for $5, 50/50 tickets are 10 tickets for $5, and Lottery Tree tickets are $5 each. On Saturday at 9 a.m. there will be cookies and hot chocolate with story time with Santa and Mrs. Claus for $2.
There is also a children’s activity area where kids can color pictures, make an ornament and write there letter to Santa for a fee of $2. If children include there full name and address Santa will reply with a personal letter to the kids.
