The Salrite club of Past Chiefs, Pythian Sisters, was delightfully entertained by the past chiefs of Fidelity Temple, Lisbon Falls on Monday. At 12:30 pm, a splendid dinner was served by the committee, Mrs. Lena MacMillan, chairman assisted by Mrs. Sarah Coombs, Mrs. Margaret Thompson, Mrs. Alice Buchanan, Mrs. Emma Larrabee, Mrs. Nellie Hinds, and Mrs. Minnie Holt.
After the dinner a very amusing original farce portraying a meeting of “The Village Sewing Circle” was given by the past chiefs of Fidelity Temple. The bits of gossip reported at the Sewing Circle were full of amusing jokes aimed at various members of the club.
