DIXFIELD — A New Hampshire man escaped injury Thursday afternoon when the fully loaded logging truck he was driving rolled onto its side on U.S. Route 2, according to the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office.
Kyle Morrissette, 57, of Milan was operating the tractor-trailer owned by Flint Farm Trucking, the news release from the Sheriff’s Office said. Driver fatigue was cited as the cause, it said.
The highway, which is also known as Main Street, was closed for several hours after the logs were thrown from the trailer about 1 p.m.
Flint Farm Trucking is based in Milan, New Hampshire, according to opencorporates.com.
Oxford County deputies were assisted by Mexico Police and Maine Department of Environmental Protection and fire/rescue teams from Mexico and Peru.
