Tree Street Youth was founded in 2011 by two Bates College alumnae. The grass roots organization has grown from an after school homework program into year-round programming that serves 500 youth pre-k through seniors in high school, where members are involved in academics and athletics, but also empowerment, college access, leadership, enrichment and mentorship.
