Visit change
RUMFORD — The Veterans’ Advocate V.A. representative will be at the Veteran’s Clinic from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Oct. 14, on Franklin Street.
He typically visits the clinic on the second Thursday of each month, but the date was changed from Oct. 13.
Class of 1958
BETHEL — The Class of 1958 of Stephens High School, Rumford, will hold their monthly luncheon at noon Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the Roosters Roadhouse.

Roy benefit
RUMFORD — A benefit for Everett Roy will be held from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Rumford Eagles Hall. There will be food, a music DJ, a 50/50 raffle and a Chinese auction table with items donated by area businesses.
Prizes that will be raffled off include a flat screen TV, a black powder rifle and an Adirondack chair with a table painted with Patriot’s football colors.
There is a donation of $5 at the door, children under 16 are free. Other donations are welcome. Call Bob at 364-8513 or Darin at 212-7217.
