FAYETTE — Berndt and Elaine Graf, owners of Meadow Brook Farm in Fayette, the Kennebec Land Trust and the Maine Department of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Resources will host a farm celebration and open barn from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
Pack a picnic lunch and spend the afternoon learning about dairy farming in Kennebec County and the Graf’s conservation easement with KLT.
Enjoy hot and cold cider, apples and cookies. Hike the farm trails and fields. Children and families are welcome to visit the cows, horses, sheep and chickens.
