Country music
SALEM — A+E Hill Country Music will return to the Salem Community Building at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20. A donation box will be at the door and homemade refreshments will be on sale. The event is being hosted by the Salem Pine Tree Club.
Educators to meet
FARMINGTON — Franklin County Retired Educators will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Trinity United Methodist Church. There will be a musical program featuring Jim Rogers.

Genealogy program
FARMINGTON — Clyde Berry, Maine Grange past master and National Grange lecturer, will present a program on genealogy. He will discuss how to get started, share sources that can help and help start fill out a family tree.
The program will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Farmington Grange Hall, West Farmington. Refreshments will be served after the free program. All are welcome. For more information, call 778-6968.
Craft fair set
FAYETTE — The Fayette Historical Society will hold its annual craft fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Fayette Central School, Route 17. There will be homemade crafts and a fish chowder lunch, dine in or take out.
Circle has social
JAY — Daughters of Isabella Circle 677, St. Rose of Lima Parish, held the monthly social recently. Finger rolls, salads and gingerbread with whipped cream were served from tables decorated for the fall season. After supper the group was asked to help decorate coffee cans that are used for the cookie walk at the circle fall bazaar and Christmas fair.
