PARIS — Santa Claus is coming to the Paris Public Library on Saturday, Dec. 17, visiting from 1 to 3 p.m. Children of all ages in the community are invited to come and tell Santa what they want for Christmas and to bring along their letters too.
There will also be a variety of holiday crafts, activities, stories and snacks for children to enjoy at the library while waiting their turns to meet Santa.
The library is also offering new activity programs for children during the month. In addition to the traditional preschooler story-times on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m., a family story-time, with seasonal stories, crafts and games, is being held Tuesday afternoons at 3:30 p.m.
Also, on Saturday, Dec. 3, children visiting the library are invited to make clothespin reindeer that may be used as ornaments or as stand-alone decorations. On Saturday, Dec. 10, children are invited to make bookmark mice from clay. On Friday, Dec. 23, the project will be making paper plate angels for adorning the Christmas dinner table.
For more information about any of these activities, contact the Paris Public Library by calling 743-6994, or email paris.public.library@MSLN.net.
