- Staff at Meroby Elementary School have identified 49 children who need winter clothing and Christmas toys. The “snowmen” listing the sizes and wish list for 14 children have yet to be chosen by a community member or organization. Those wishing to donate may pick up a tag in the MES office in Mexico before Dec. 16. This is the third year the elementary school has sponsored a Giving Tree. Helping out with the tree, above, are Evrit Roy, a Mexico fourth-grader, and Alexis Cannon-Powell, a Rumford first-grader.
