UNITY — The Common Ground Country Fair kicked off Friday and will run through Sunday at the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) fairgrounds at 294 Crosby Brook Road.
The fair highlights organic agriculture, sustainable living, and rural skills. Unlike traditional agricultural fairs, it focuses on education and hands-on learning, featuring craft demonstrations, heirloom crops, organic farming exhibits, livestock, local food, live music and hundreds of vendors.
Fair hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets cost $25 and are free for children under 12.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
