LIVERMORE FALLS — Treat Memorial Library held its annual book sale Sept. 26 during the Apple Pumpkin Festival, drawing steady traffic throughout the day.
Assistant Director Alana Knapp said favorable weather and a broad selection of donated books helped bring visitors to the sale.

“We were busy all day,” Knapp said. “We were blessed with many donations that appealed to a wide audience.”
Visitors also received handmade bookmarks donated for the event. Bruce Peary of Pearls in the Pines provided beaded bookmarks that could also be worn as bracelets, while Amanda C. donated colorful laminated art bookmarks.
Knapp said the variety gave visitors plenty of choices and the bookmarks proved popular with attendees.
The book sale will still be available to browse during open hours through October and November.
