- Six fifth- and sixth-grade fiddle students from Hartford-Sumner Elementary School participated in the Maine Country Dance Fiddle Workshop and Festival on Feb. 11 in Hallowell. They worked with Maine fiddlers Kaity Newell, Ellen Gawler and Greg Boardman. More than 50 fiddlers participated. From left, in front, are Jordyn Bennett, William Ellis and Mackenzie Heathco; in back, Julia Dow, Norliyana Menes and Rachel Warren. They were accompanied by music teacher Meghan Andrews-Wright.
