WILTON — The Wilton Day Homemakers Extension Group met at St Luke’s Church on March 8 with 10 members and two guests.
The spring meeting will be held Friday, May 18, at Wilson Grange, East Wilton. Members are looking for entertainment.
Members received a letter of congratulations for the fundraising for the Flags on Main Street from Tom Saviello. Flags on Main Street will be held on Saturday, May 19.
So far members have collected three jars of tabs and are looking to collect a jar a meeting. The Rotary tree sold for $175. Maine Homemakers Extension will hold its state meeting at the Best Western in Waterville on Thursday, April 28. The theme is “Garden Party.”
Cindy Touchette spoke on Lyme Disease. She provided information and a notebook of information to read at home.
Members will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 12, at St Luke’s Church. They will make appetizers for the meeting. Cheese balls, meatball sauce, dogs in dough, stuffed mushrooms and tapas will be on the menu. Cost is $3 a person.
