LIVERMORE FALLS — Selectmen agreed Monday to appoint someone to serve on the RSU 73 board until town elections June 12.

Anyone interested in finishing the term of Ann Souther is asked to call Town Manager Kristal Flagg at 897-3321.

Souther resigned in January and selectmen initially opted not to fill the position. However, Chairman Bill Demaray said RSU 73 Chairwoman Denise Rodzen recently advised that the town is missing out on representation on important decisions in the near future.

Livermore Falls has four seats on the 13-member board.

Those interested in being elected to the board must file nomination papers by April 27.
