BIDDEFORD — Richard Franklin Cash, 76, formerly of South Paris, died Sunday, April 1, at Southern Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Buckfield, June 21, 1935, the son of Prince Harold Cash and Ethel Bumpus Cash. He attended schools in Otisfield and had been employed at C.B.Cummings for many years.

He was a member of the National Guard for three years and a longtime member of the Lake Thompson Fish and Game.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Kirk Leach and her husband, Wayne, of Biddeford; his son, Richard L. Cash and his companion, Thurley Doyle, of Lewiston; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Cash; and three sisters, Virginia Chesley, Arlene Maxim and Sandra Hubbard.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Maynard Cash and John Cash; and a sister, Ethelyn Edwards.
