WILTON — Police are investigating burglaries and vandalism in three buildings at the town-owned Kineowatha Park, Sgt. Richard Billian Jr. said Tuesday morning.

The forced entries occurred between 7:30 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, Billian said. Some items were taken from the buildings, he said.

A fire extinguisher was sprayed over items in Recreation Director Frank Donald’s office, which also serves as a warming hut, Billian said.

A garage and the main building, where snacks are served and games are played, also were broken into, he said.

Police were waiting for a complete list of damages before estimating the losses.

If you have information or saw anything suspicious, please call the Wilton Police Department at 645-3876.
