- A celebration and dedication service for sculptures created by Gilman B. Whitman, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10, at the Locke Mills Union Church, UCC. The sculptures, created in memory of Whitman’s wife, Elizabeth Noyes Whitman, were given to the church. Special music will be provided. An open house with refreshments will follow.
