LISBON FALLS — A Lewiston woman, Jacqueline McDowell, 57, was seriously injured in a single vehicle rollover on Route 9 early Monday morning.
She was transported to Central Maine Medical Center by Lisbon Emergency. On Monday afternoon, she was listed in fair condition.
Officer Ryan McGee said McDowell, who was alone, was driving in a southerly directon on Route 9. According to witnessess, her car veered off the right shoulder, struck a culvert, went airborne across a driveway and continued out of control for several hundred feet, rolling over between eight and 10 times before coming to a stop on its wheels.
The crash remained under investigation Monday, McGee said.
McDowell’s 2012 Nissan Versa 4-door sedan was demolished in the 7:15 a.m. crash.
